KAMMPROFILE GASKET
Kammprofile gaskets with grooved (profiled) surfaces have proven to be very effective for sealing flange connections, and suitable for applications with high pressure, high temperatures, and fluctuating conditions. Non-metallic cover layers when supported by the grooved metallic gasket provide excellent sealing properties, ensuring that flanges are not damaged even at extreme loads. Kammprofile gasket is the preferred gasket solution when improved performance at low seating stresses is required. It features excellent anti-blow-out properties. A tighter joint is provided with a reliable solid metal-to-metal seal combined with a soft sealing face.
Type & Size Of Gaskets
Type FF
are suitable for tongue and groove and male-female flanges in pipe joints and vessels or as a heat exchanger gasket
Type FR
are utilizing an integral outer locating ring for correct gasket positioning within the material flange bolt circle
